Who We Are
We are locksmiths, safe smiths, and security technicians working for the
general public, commercial and industrial companies, colleges,
universities, hospitals, institutions and government facilities involved
in the installation, servicing, maintenance, specifying and/or
recommending of door hardware, locks, keys, safes, vaults, alarms,
security equipment, and life safety devices.
Why the Ohio Valley Chapter of ALOA?
Area locksmiths found themselves with problems, but nowhere to turn for
local help. We needed a forum to be able to discuss problems which occur
in our region, such as:
- Help with key control and master keying issues
- Help with technical information
- Help locating parts, supplies, key codes, etc.
- Help communicating regional needs to their distributors and manufacturers.
Benefits to Members:
We are dedicated to increasing our professionalism for the benefit of
our members through....
- Education
- Communication
- Cooperation
- Certification
Our Corporate and Associate Members include factory representatives and distributors of locksmith and security supplies. These contacts are
invaluable to our members by offering them:
- Free or low-cost training
- Products updates
- New product reviews
Our goal:
The Ohio Valley Chapter of ALOA's goal is to promote and educate its
members in the field of locksmithing, and to encourage and effect the
interchange of data, experience, methods and techniques relating to
locksmiths among members of the locksmith profession.
